by using Cosine of law    (r−0.5)^2 =0.5^2 +((√2)−r)^2 −2×0.5×((√2)−r)cos 45°  r^2 −r+(1/4)=(1/4)+2−2(√2)r+r^2 −(1/( (√2)))((√2)−r)  (2(√2)−1)r=2−1+(1/2)(√2) r  (4(√2)−2−(√2) )r=2   r = (2/(3(√2)−2)) = ((3(√2) +2)/7)
