A certain person′s blood preassure  is modelled by the function  p(t)=115+25 sin (160πt)  where p(t) is the pressure in mmHg  at time t measured in minutes.  (a) Find the number of heartbeats per minute  (b) Find the blood preassure  reading. How does this compare   to normal blood preassure?

T=((2π)/ω)=((2π)/(160π))=(1/(80))min  f=(1/T)=80 hpm  min(p)=90  max(p)=140  as for comparison, better ask a doc

$${T}=\frac{\mathrm{2}\pi}{\omega}=\frac{\mathrm{2}\pi}{\mathrm{160}\pi}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{80}}{min} \\ $$$${f}=\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{T}}=\mathrm{80}\:{hpm} \\ $$$${min}\left({p}\right)=\mathrm{90} \\ $$$${max}\left({p}\right)=\mathrm{140} \\ $$$${as}\:{for}\:{comparison},\:{better}\:{ask}\:{a}\:{doc} \\ $$
