^n a=a^a^a^a =a^(n(times))

$$\:^{{n}} {a}={a}^{{a}^{{a}^{{a}} } } ={a}^{{n}\left({times}\right)} \\ $$

you mean then 2^2^2^2 =2^x ⇒x=2^2^2 =16

$${you}\:{mean}\:{then} \\ $$$$\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{2}} } } =\mathrm{2}^{{x}} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow{x}=\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{2}^{\mathrm{2}} } =\mathrm{16} \\ $$
