 x^(sgn (x^3 −x))  = x^2  − (4/9)

$$\:{x}^{\mathrm{sgn}\:\left({x}^{\mathrm{3}} −{x}\right)} \:=\:{x}^{\mathrm{2}} \:−\:\frac{\mathrm{4}}{\mathrm{9}}\: \\ $$

 x = −(1/3) ∧ x=(4/3)

$$\:{x}\:=\:−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{\mathrm{3}}\:\wedge\:{x}=\frac{\mathrm{4}}{\mathrm{3}} \\ $$
