$$\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{f}}=\left({n}−\mathrm{1}\right)\left(\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{R}_{\mathrm{1}} }−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{R}_{\mathrm{2}} }\right)\:\:{lense}'{s}\:{maker}\:{equation}. \\ $$$${when}\:{is}\:{positive}\:{or}\:{negative}\:{R}_{\mathrm{1}} \:{and}\:\:{R}_{\mathrm{2}} ? \\ $$
