A fair coin is tossed 100 times. The  probability of getting tails an odd  number of times is

attempt?  P(tails)=(1/2)  from 1 to 100, there are 50 even, 50 odd numbers  so, there is an equal chance of heads or tails and  odd or even,  P(tails, odd)=(1/2)

Question is asking for a probablity  that odd number of tails  you are correct in saying that  probablity of odd number of  tails=odd number of heads.  However sum of the above is not  equal to 1 since that are cases that  you will get even number of heads  and tails.
