(x−(1/x))^2 =x^2 +(1/x^2 )−2=3−2=1

$$\left({x}−\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{x}}\right)^{\mathrm{2}} ={x}^{\mathrm{2}} +\frac{\mathrm{1}}{{x}^{\mathrm{2}} }−\mathrm{2}=\mathrm{3}−\mathrm{2}=\mathrm{1} \\ $$
