direction of angular velocity is  toward driver′s left    direction of angular acceleration is  toward driver′s right

since the car goes ahead, direction of  ω is as shown above.  since the car slows down, the direction  of α is opposite to that of ω.

$${since}\:{the}\:{car}\:{goes}\:{ahead},\:{direction}\:{of} \\ $$$$\omega\:{is}\:{as}\:{shown}\:{above}. \\ $$$${since}\:{the}\:{car}\:{slows}\:{down},\:{the}\:{direction} \\ $$$${of}\:\alpha\:{is}\:{opposite}\:{to}\:{that}\:{of}\:\omega. \\ $$
