the figure above is a solid with trapezium PQRS as its uniform  cross−section.  a) Find the area of the trapezuim PQRS  b) calculate the volume of the solid figure.

A_(Trapezium ) = ((height × (big side + small side))/2)  A_(Trapezium)  = ((12 × (11 + 6))/2) = 102 m^2     and    Vol = A_(Trapezium)  × Height  Vol = 102 × 8 = 816 m^3
