2×5^2 +2p×5−2p=0 50+10p−2p=0 p=((−50)/8)=((−25)/4)

$$\mathrm{2}×\mathrm{5}^{\mathrm{2}} +\mathrm{2}{p}×\mathrm{5}−\mathrm{2}{p}=\mathrm{0} \\ $$$$\mathrm{50}+\mathrm{10}{p}−\mathrm{2}{p}=\mathrm{0} \\ $$$${p}=\frac{−\mathrm{50}}{\mathrm{8}}=\frac{−\mathrm{25}}{\mathrm{4}} \\ $$

2(5)^2 + 2p(5) − 2p = 0 50 + 10p − 2p = 0 8p = −50 p = − ((50)/8) = −6(1/4)
