log ((40)/9) +4log 5 +2log 6 =  =log 40 −log 9 +4log 5 +2log 2 +2log 3=  =3log 2 +log 5 −2log 3 +4log 5 +2log 2 +2log 3=  =5log 2 +5log 5 =5log 10

  5log10=5×1=5

not sure about the usage of “log”  some people use “ln” for log_e  and “log” for  log_(10) ; others use “log” for log_e  and “log_b ” for  all other bases b
