8×70=560 kg  1 tonne = 1000 kg  ⇒((560)/(1000))=0.56 tonnes
$$\mathrm{8}×\mathrm{70}=\mathrm{560}\:{kg} \\ $$$$\mathrm{1}\:\mathrm{tonne}\:=\:\mathrm{1000}\:\mathrm{kg} \\ $$$$\Rightarrow\frac{\mathrm{560}}{\mathrm{1000}}=\mathrm{0}.\mathrm{56}\:\mathrm{tonnes} \\ $$

(((1+8)×8)/2)×70=2520 kg=2.52 t
$$\frac{\left(\mathrm{1}+\mathrm{8}\right)×\mathrm{8}}{\mathrm{2}}×\mathrm{70}=\mathrm{2520}\:{kg}=\mathrm{2}.\mathrm{52}\:{t} \\ $$
